Become a Partner in Safety
One of our goals for the coming year is to implement more safety awareness campaigns throughout the year. Safety issues that need to be addressed include unsafe u-turns in front of schools, double parking to let children out of cars, parents letting their children out of cars in unsafe areas and blocking traffic, poor visibility during foggy days, children dashing across the street in non-pedestrian crossing areas, and bicycle safety issues.
In order to assure that the program continues, we need your help, become a partner in safety . By agreeing to donate $500 to adopt a crossing guard site, this important safety program will continue to succeed.
As a Partner in Safety you will receive:
- Acknowledgement on the www.vcfresno.org website
- Recognition in the school newsletter where crossing guard site is located
- Recognition at Adult Volunteer Crossing Guard safety events
- Acknowledgement at the Volunteer of the Year awards luncheon
- Certificate of Appreciation for Partner in Safety – Adopt a Crossing Guard Site.
